The CompassLearning® security supplier is Intensive Hosting. Intensive Hosting operates on Microsoft-only platforms, managing complex Windows configurations. Intensive Hosting installs, configures, patches and monitors Microsoft's core set of Internet applications and operating systems. The security is structured in the following way:

1. Security and Patching

Security features include round-the-clock security personnel, video surveillance, proximity-based access cards, and biometric hand scanners to address hacker attacks and software vulnerabilities.

2. Managed Backup

Intensive Hosting uses best practices in tandem with the most reliable storage devices in the industry that ensure that data is secured. Full weekly and daily differential backups of the hosting environment are conducted without affecting network performance. Backup verification assures that the process has been completed correctly and data integrity is maintained. Should any problems surface, the backup process will immediately be replicated and tested until the results are successful. In the event that data is lost or there is a need to retrieve historical data, Intensive Hosting will provide restorations twice a month at no charge.

3. Server Administration

Intensive Hosting actively manages the network, hardware, and Microsoft's core set of Internet applications that comprise the infrastructure on an ongoing basis. Monitoring tools anticipate and resolve hardware issues before they become a problem.
